With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carmen Ortiz of Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on November 30, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Medrano and Manuel Medrano; and her siblings, Carol Medrano, Joe and Frankie Medrano.

She is survived by: her husband Frank Ortiz Jr.; her children, Lori Ortiz (Theresa), Anthony Ortiz (Eileen), Debbie Ortiz (Tony), Chris Ortiz (Janel) and Carol Ortiz (Trish); her grandchildren, Frances, Jamie Bazan, Analisa Ortiz (Jay), Ryan, Sierra Ortiz, James Esqueda (Monica) and Chris Esqueda (Lindsay); her great grandchildren, Dominic, Kedrick, Brandon, Neena, Ella, Anthony and Gabriel; her godchildren, Danny Alejandro and Patsy Lujan; and her siblings, Louie Medrano (Barbara), David Medrano (Rosemary), Ricky Medrano (Carol), Sofie Gonzales (Mariano), Angie Garcia (Willie) and Florinda Lujan (Billy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
