He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Gallegos and Francisca Gallegos; and his siblings, Rosa Escobedo, Laura Carrillo, Amparo Gallegos, Adrian Gallegos and Jesus Gallegos.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Gallegos; his children, Carlos Gallegos Jr. (Sylvia), Patricia Mason, Eddie Gallegos, Cindy Serna (Paul), Robert Gallegos, Jennifer Mulay (Joseph), Tony Gallegos (Jessica) and Laura Montoya (Andrew); and his siblings, Raul Gallegos, Olga Murillo, Ruben Gallegos, Everardo Gallegos, Telo Gallegos and Juvenal Gallegos. He is also survived by thirty-one grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel (1000 Old Coors Dr SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105). A Mass was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church (833 Arizona St SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108). A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the Sunset Memorial Park (924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107).
