He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Bruening and Mary Naomi Bruening (Durand); and his siblings, Mary Kathryn Donia, Connie Bruening and Daniel Bruening.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Seifert; his children, Barry Bruening (Lisa), Barbara Vasos (Bill Phillips) and Brian Bruening (Jackie); his grandchildren, David Stevanus (Amber), Melissa Vasos, Damon McClintock (Veronica) and Josh Pritts; his sister Lois Spaulding; and his former wife Beverly Bruening. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, numerous nephews, special friends, and a niece.
