We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Bessie Lujan of Albuquerque, New Mexico, born in Cuba, New Mexico. She was predeceased by: her husband David Lujan; her parents, Cosme Lovato and Rosa Lovato; and her siblings, Irene Angus and Vilo Lovato.

She is survived by: her children, David Lujan Jr. (Ida), Erelda Sedillo (Alex), Thomas Lujan (Valerie), Rhonda Chavez (Herman), Yolanda Gonzales (Eloy), Nelson Lujan (Paulette) and Patricia Smith (Tim); her brother Charlie Lovato; and her grandchildren, Santiago, Joseph, Nicole, Monique (Jeremy), Kayla, Adrian (Erica), Adam, Isabella and Liliana. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; many brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
