Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bertha Martinez in Albuquerque, New Mexico, born in Ojo Caliente, New Mexico, who passed away at the age of 77, on February 17, 2021. She was predeceased by: her mother Stella Martinez; her sister Helen Garcia; her brother-in-law Philip Garcia; her nephews, Adam Quintana and Philip Garcia; her niece Daphne Garcia-Martinez; and her great-niece Amanda Martinez.

She is survived by: her son Chris Martinez; her siblings, Leo Martinez of Espanola, Cipriano "Cippie" Martinez (Gloria) of Espanola, Joseph Martinez of Espanola, Lucille Martinez of Albuquerque, Mandy Ruiz of Moreno Valley and Darlene Abeyta of Albuquerque; her nephew Brian Abeyta (Adriana); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Agustín, Benjamin, Nicolas (Nico) and Daniel Abeyta (Ariane); her goddaughter Kathy Casados (Matthew) of Espanola; her great-niece Veronica Casados; her great-nephew Adan Casados of Albuquerque; her godson Ivan Martinez of Santa Fe; and also, Max of Alexandria, Virginia., Janice Martinez (Sammy) of Chimayo, Natalie Salazar (Julian) of Albuquerque and Chris Abeyta (Sabrina) of Rio Rancho. She is also survived by her siblings, nieces, and nephews.

Due to the restrictions set in place by the Governor masks are MANDATORY to attend Bertha's Mass.
