It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Mendez (Albuquerque, New Mexico), who passed away on August 27, 2020, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Gonzales and Jacob Gonzales; and her granddaughter Ayla Mendez. She is survived by: her husband Miguel Mendez; her children, Justin L. Garcia, Bryan M. Garcia, Matthew J. Garcia, Michael A. Mendez (Heather), Nicholas A. Mendez (Amanda), Isaac A. Mendez and Macayla A. Mendez; her siblings, Benjamin F. Gonzales (Darlene), Patricia Fisher (Herman) and Mark A. Gonzales (Melissa); and her grandchildren, Madilyn Garcia, Luke Mendez and Elena Mendez.

Through the expanded love of her family and due to the loss of her granddaughter, Ayla Grace Mendez, Barbara's wish was to have all donations be made to the Star Legacy Foundation at https: //starlegacyfoundation.org/.
