She was predeceased by: her husband Phil Salazar; her parents, David Roybal and Carlota Roybal; her siblings, Bennino Roybal, Claudina Serrano (Tony), Dan Roybal, Tony Roybal (Celina) and Ralph Roybal; her brother-in-law Willie Quintana; her close friend Ted Kahn; and her sisters-in-law, Teresita Salazar-Jaramillo (Fermin) and Alice Sandoval (Juan).
She is survived by: her daughters, Nadine Guardiola (Pancho) and Carolyn Strong (Daniel); her grandchildren, Ruben Guardiola, Kristen Juarez (Ricardo), Kenny Strong and Bradley Strong; her great grandchildren, Avarie, Ezekiel and Amaya; her siblings, Stella Quintana and Ted Roybal (Sally); and her sisters-in-law, Charlotte Roybal and Rosina Salazar.
