He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fidel and Ramoncita; his wife Sylvia Hurbina; and his children, Ramona Ayala, Patsy Gutierrez (Paul), Lavern Hurbina, Juan Andres Hurbina, Marcie Madrid, Frances Hurbina and Pauline Hurbina. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
