She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Pete Barreras (Donna) of San Antonio, Vivian Barreras (Albinita) of Denver, Margaret Barboa (David) of Albuquerque, Barbara Miller of Albuquerque, Andra Ponce (Toby) of Albuquerque and Angel Barreras of Albuquerque; her siblings, Rosie Chavez, Rachel Hutchison, Eddie Chavez and Priscilla Edwards; her husband Willie G. Barreras; her grandson Luther Miller; her siblings, Jimmy Chavez, Aristeo Chavez, Richard Chavez, Louie Chavez, Pedro Chavez, Belia Trujillo and Dorothy Dupree; and her father Patrick. She was also cherished by twelve grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
