He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrosio I Saavedra and Rebecca Saavedra; his wife Senaida; his son-in-law Thomas Bachicha; and his grandson Jacob Dutcher.

He is survived by: his children, Theresa Bachicha, Michael Saavedra (Susie), Ambrosio Saavedra III (Diane), Anna Mannara (William Sr.), Angela Dutcher (Herb) and Kathy Saavedra. He is also survived by six children, 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and was also a great-great grandfather.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, private services will be held.
