Albertus Simon Eg Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albertus Simon Eg (Albuquerque, New Mexico), who passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Albertus Simon Eg to pay them a last tribute.
Albert was born May 26, 1935 to Anna Schoon and Johannes Eg in Grootebroek, Netherlands.
Albert proudly served in the Dutch Army for 2 years. He married Marita Beatrice Vogt with whom he had four children: Louise, Anna, Johanna and Johannes. Immigrating to the United States in January of 1968, they first lived in New York. The family then relocated to Arizona in 1972 where he became a US Citizen October 19, 1984.
He married Lona Wyman December 18, 1987. They shared a passion for singing in church and dancing. Later, they moved to Wisconsin, where they built their home. During this time, Albert enjoyed performing with the Fox Valleyaires Barbershop quartet and delighted in conducted tours of the Little Chute Windmill.
A man of many talents, his work included: construction, building his own homes, owning a jewelry shop, making jewelry, painting, detailed work at Motorola, and working at Hobby Lobby. Happily, he was able to spend the last few months of his life in Albuquerque, NM with his son.

Children: Anna Blanton, Johanna Allvarez, and Johannes Eg.
Grandchildren: Angel, Cindy, David, and Samantha.
Great Grandchildren: Xavier, Danica, Cassia, Elizabeth, Nevaeh, Rutledge, Nathan, and LeeAnn
Stepchildren: Ron Wyman, Deb Blank
Step grandchildren: Gary, Anthony, Tatianna, Karleen, Alex, Christian
Step Great Grandchildren: Ava, Rahla, Carson, Amelia, Alyssa, Brielle, Brecklin, Brady
Predeceased by: his parents, his wives Marita and Lona, his daughter, Louise and stepson, Randy.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 12th 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Scottsdale (4415 East Paradise Village Parkway South, Phoenix, Arizona 85032). RSVP with Cindy 602-413-3321
