Agnes Chavez Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Agnes Chavez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Agnes Chavez to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Agnes Chavez; her husband Peter Chavez; her children, Pete Chavez (Monica), Don Chavez (Melinda), Shirley Sandoval (Paige Lavilla), Tessie Medina (Don), Michael Chavez (Debra), Angela Scott (Chris) and Elena Chavez; and her pet Penny. She was also cherished by her twenty-six grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.

Because of the current situation with COVID-19, we respectfully ask that masks be worn by those that are able to attend, during the entirety of the service.

Because our mom had such a love for animals, especially her beloved Penny, we ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made in her honor to Watermelon Mountain Ranch Animal Shelter.
