With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Troy Poovey in Alamogordo, New Mexico, who passed away on September 14, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Poovey and Pattie Poovey (Cloninger); his mother-in-law Maude Corne; and his siblings, Lamar Poovey, Nancy Glover (Tom), Willie Raider (Joe), Harold Poovey and Melvin Poovey (Betsy).
He is survived by: his wife Martha Poovey (Corne); his children, Debbie Rhodus, Troy L Poovey Jr. (Judith) and Scott Poovey (Wendy); and his grandchildren, Jeremy, Jennifer (Anthony), Joseph (Mynne), Jeff (Narumi), Thricia (Michael), Cassie, Devin (Jesse), Zach and Cody (Ericka). He is also survived by his 16 great grandchildren.
