He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Pearse of Virginia; his son-in-law Kevin Maguire; and his grandsons, Michael, Sean and Patrick Maguire of Maryland.
Spencer was an avid animal lover; donations to the Alamogordo Animal Shelter in his memory would be heartily welcomed in lieu of flowers.
