It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley McGowen in Alamogordo, New Mexico, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 1, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William S. Winder and Thelma B. Winder (Settlemire); her grandson Braden M. Humble; her husband Ralph L. McGowen; and her son-in-law William W. Reed (Billy).
She is survived by: her pets, Lexi and Breezy; her children, Denise L. Humble of Alamogordo, NM, Vicki J. Reed of Alamogordo, NM, Bradley W. Humble (Gail Ellison) of Alamogordo, NM, Michael E. Humble (Heidi Windiate) of Sierra Vista and Gregory A. Humble of Alamogordo, NM; her stepdaughter Barbara Morse of Plano, TX; her grandchildren, Jason Giglio (Kuia Taiaroa), Jeff Reed (Melissa), Heather Reed, Justin Munoz (Marianne), Chelsea Munoz, Ashley Dicus (Brad) and Roary McClain (Amy); her great grandchildren, Lauren, Megan, Jacob, Victoria, Gaven, Brooke, Kyla, Braden, Gracyn, Tristen, Juliana and Emerson; and her cousin Barbara Quayle (Ken).
