It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruthann Carner (Alamogordo, New Mexico), who passed away on May 10, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruthann Carner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lincoln Cox and Tempie Cox (Reeves); her husband Edward; her in-laws, Loyd and Amanda Carner; and her sister Shirley White.
She is survived by: her children, Lin Smith of Alamogordo, Carel Turnbull (Val) of Mayhill, Jake Carner (Debbie) of Timberon and Genger Nunn (John Roy) of La Luz; her grandchildren, Beau Smith, Colt Smith (Judy), Amanda Carner, Gennifer Baca, Laura Evans, Gilbert Evans (Moriah), Mike Searl, Mykle Northrip, Ashlee Cillessen (Dale), Brittney Virden (Dan), Paige Carner, Niki Gililland (Brandon), Leshel Garcia, Callie Nixon (Kenny), Tabatha Donley (Levi) and Trustin Nunn; her siblings, Dub Cox (Jenny) of Lubbock and Eula Marie Harrison of Las Cruces; and her aunt Thelma Harwell Evans (Reeves) of Roswell. She is also survived by 40 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
