It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Allen of Alamogordo, New Mexico, born in Morton, Texas, who passed away on October 7, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Warton and Mary Warton; her husband Alsey; her brothers, Bill of Marvin, JW, David and Bobby; and her granddaughter Brenna Allen.
She is survived by: her sister Freda Baldwin of Indiana; her children, Carolyn Allen of Moriarty, Jimmy Allen (Lisa) and Mary Blanton (Robert) of Alamogordo; her grandchildren, Gareth (Joanna), Gavin Stitt (Jenna), Jason Allen, Brandon, Katie Sharpe, Shawna Blanton Conway (Ian) and Amy Blanton Santos (Glenn); and her great grandchildren, Joshua Pena, Chelsea Shaffer (Nevie), Anthony Santos, Braedon Conway, Aria, Lyric Stitt, Jordan and Sidney Stitt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ruth's Spirit returned to God when she left this earth, and her ashes will be joined with her beloved Carroll's in the Christ Community Church columbarium until Jesus returns and their ashes are turned to glorified bodies, in the blink of an eye - 1 Corinthians 15:52 Due to Covid 19, a memorial is tentatively planned for a beautiful day in spring/summer of 2021.
