He is survived by: his wife Otomi Martinez; his children, Patsy Shaw (Russell Shaw) and Ruben Martinez Jr.; his wife Tracy Martinez; his siblings, Rafael Martinez, Jose "Pepe" Martinez, Ermelinda Salido, Guadalupe Aguilar, Daniel Martinez, Dusty Martinez and Enriqueta Duran; and also, Andy Martinez (Maxine Martinez), Raul Martinez (Rowena Martinez), Ernesto Martinez (Susana Martinez), Adelina Martinez, Pearl Shepard (Tim Shepard), Omar Martinez and Adrian Martinez (Cassie Martinez). He is also survived by grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
