He was predeceased by: his mother Carra Houston Jones; his wife Marga Lou Jones; his sister Pearl Makinson; his son Allen Jones; his grandson Brian Jones; and also, Dean Jones, Cecil Jones and Ray Jones.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Jones and Brad Jones of Alamogordo; his daughter-in-law Gail Jones; his grandchildren, Ronald Jones of Alamogordo, Jackie Higgins of Alamogordo and Jessica Jones of Wells, ME.; and also, Melissa Thomason of Alamogordo, Ruby Smith of Houston, TX, Leone Russell of Alamogordo and Dorothy Benedict of Arkansas.
