With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Austin Howerton of Alamogordo, New Mexico, born in Savonburg, Kansas, who passed away on August 27, 2022 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Millard Howerton (Bill) and Lillian Estelle Howerton (Austin); and his siblings, Bernard, Darrel, Loren, Gary and Winnie.

He is survived by: his nephew Craig Howerton; and his sister-in-law Pat Howerton.
