It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Faye (Howard) McCarty of Alamogordo, New Mexico, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Howard and Maudie Moore Howard; and her siblings, Harry, James "Buster" Howard, Louise Wagoner and Addie Jefferson.
She is survived by: her husband Ron McCarty; her children, Ronnie McCarty (Mary) of Alamogordo, Helen Littleton (Jamie) of Pace, Debbie Ryden (Adam) of Lakewood and Liz McCord (Jeremy) of Carlisle; her siblings, John Howard (Roberta), Ollie Howard, Helen Howard, Anna Smoot, Peggy Halsey, Barbara Fryman (James) and Shirley Mattox (Roger); and her grandchildren, Tress, Christian, Cheyanne Daniels, Ryan McCarty and Aubri McCord. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews & cousins.
