As Ramon Mejia departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ramon Mejia may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ramon Mejia leaves behind.
He is survived by: his wife Josefina Mejia; and his children, Ramon Mejia Jr. (Lori Mejia), Guadalupe Silva (Pablito Silva), Irma Alicia Flores (Efren Flores), Maria De (Angeles Mejia), Lorena Amador, Patricia Mejia, Evangelina Mejia, Josefina Mejia Jr. and Lidia Adams (Nick Adams). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Scenic Chapel (1334 N Scenic Dr, Alamogordo, NM 88310). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (705 Delaware Ave, Alamogordo, NM 88310).
