He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Rivera and Patricia Rivera; and his brother Juan Lloyd Rivera. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his sister Tracy (Jerry); his aunt Bernadette; his stepdaughters, Natalie (Manuel) and Amber (Syndesi); and his grandchildren, Lilah, Olivia, Adrianna and Ivy. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
