It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maria Coyazo (Alamogordo, New Mexico), who passed away on March 19, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Chacon and Margarita Chacon; her significant other Librado "Lalo" Coyazo; and her siblings, Benito, Eldifonso, Cruz, Enrique, Felitos and Monsirate.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sylvia Salas (Luis), Margaret Hernandez (Jerry) and Helen Mitchell; her adoptive daughter Sylvie Jackson; her grandchildren, Alicia Mondragon, Luis Salas Jr., Destiny Ashe, Jerry Jr., Stephanie, Jennifer, Abel Julian Armijo, De'Joire, Janesse and Téa Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Trevin, Annalicia, Xavier, Damien, Ethan, Jacob, Gracie, Joseph, John Michael, Lexi, Eli, Jenaya, Izaiah, Elijah, Marissa, Jer, Jeremiah, Brian, Diego, Brody, Aurora, Scarlett, Ashbelle and Teagen; her siblings, Socorro Chacon, Sara Moreno, Lola Gallegos, Ana Hernandez and Humberto Chacon; and her siblings-in-law, Martha Garcia and Guillermo Coyazo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID Pandemic, occupancy at the visitation is limited to no more than 10 people at a time.
