She was predeceased by: her parents, Lalie Sanchez and Refugio "Cuca" Sanchez; her husband Merle Cooley; her sisters, Frances C DeBaca and Inez Lindenmeyer; her stepson Gary Cooley; and her grandsons-in-law, Brian Salazar and Benito Covarrubia.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Gonzales, Paul Najera and Rosalina Grace; her sisters, Alicia McAninch (John) and Gloria Wood; her grandchildren, Valerie Gonzales (Jeremy), Jena Gonzales, Mark Paxton II (Kristal) and Montana Paxton (Jim); and her great grandchildren, Elias, Elexcis, Eliana, Elycio, Eluciano "Fatty", Elyssa, Madisyn, Sariya, Mason, Savannah and Danielle. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
