He was predeceased by: his father Norris; his stepmother Fay; his siblings, Bridget and Ton Ton of Washington; his mother-in-law Helen Maynez; and his brother-in-law David Maynez (Opal).
He is survived by: his mother Mae Lewis of Dallas, Texas; his siblings, Bobby Lewis, Vincent of Washington, Leacha of Washington, Teresa Johnson and Tammy of Washington; his wife Victoria; his sons, Justin Lybarger and John, Jr. of Washington; his daughter-in-law Catherine of Washington; his daughters, Paris of Washington, Marquita of Washington and Charmell Tillman; his aunt Carrie Scott; his cousin LaWanda James; and his close friends, William Taylor and Michael Hayes. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law with many more nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
