Jo Brackett Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Brackett (Alamogordo, New Mexico), who passed away on October 3, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Slobodnik and Mary Staresinic; and her sister Jane Elza (Bill Brackett). She is survived by: her daughters, Joette Wood of La Luz and Colleen Giles of Alamogordo, NM; her stepsons, Robert Brackett of Alamogordo and Scott Brackett of Colorado; her brother William Slobodnik of Mt. Laurel; her brother-in-law Tom Brackett (Jeannie) of Choctaw, Oklahoma; her granddaughter Evette Wood; and her great grandchildren, Dustin Wood, Jordin Wood and Maegan Edwards (Austin) of Alamogordo. She is also survived by two great-great granddaughters, nieces and nephews.
