It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Dwight Branch Sr. (Alamogordo, New Mexico), born in Clinton, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Mae Branch (Huckleby) and Jesse Lee Branch, Sr.; his siblings, Doris Mae Meyers, Clifton Adair and Sylvester Branch, Sr.; his daughter Takiyah Allen; and his granddaughter Keana Hightower.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Irby of Alamogordo, NM, Jerry Dwight, Jr. (Jasmine) of Albuquerque, NM, Rico Torres of Alamogordo, NM and Shon Hightower of Albuquerque, NM; and his siblings, Linda Jackson of Mesa, AZ, Lewis Branch (Jean) of Alamogordo, NM and Jessie Branch, Jr. (Margaret) of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Corinth Baptist Church (400 Delaware Ave, Alamogordo, NM 88310). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
