He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stephenson and Effie Stephenson (Brown); his wife Donna Stephenson (Swafford); and his son James David Stephenson. He is survived by: his sisters, Virginia Gantz and Barbara Brunken; his children, Sandra Goga (Mark) and Bradley Stephenson (Michele); his sister Janette Wunderlich; his brother-in-law David Swafford; and his grandchildren, James Richard, Amy Little (Lebron), Justin Stephenson (Kelly), Wess Stephenson (Casey) and Rachel Chesbro (Charles).
