He is survived by: his wife Florence; his sister Teresa Birdsong; his children, James Haltmar (Lani), Kim Haltmar, Debbie Tavares (Robert) and Teri Brooks (Jeff); his stepchildren, Lonnie Kirkpatrick (Nora) and Sherry Roberts (Randy); his stepgranddaughters, Evelyn and Judy; and his pet Lucky. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
