He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Spears and Sara Hill Spears (Blackwood); and his grandson Jack Spears Lugaro. He is survived by: his wife Refugio; and his children, Maria G. Spears, Blanca R. Spears, Martin J. Spears, Ramon J. Spears and Ricardo Spears.
