He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter O. Chase and Bernice Peterson Chase; his siblings, Bob Chase, Carol Fuhrer, Jan Linde and Betty Yuly; and his granddaughter Aexis Pohl.
He is survived by: his wife Sofia Chase; and his children, Deborah Chase Hamrick of Haslet, Jackie Chase Pohl of McKinney, Texas and Darin Chase of Gonzales, Louisiana. He is also survived by his numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Korean War Veterans Association or the charity of their choice.
