She was predeceased by: her father Timothy Roberson; her son Leroy Dawsey; her husband Junious E. Dawsey; her mother Willie Lois Roberson (Smith); and her siblings, Fatie Roberson, Horatius Roberson, Edmund Roberson and Frankye Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Junious E. Dawsey, Jr. (Michelle) of Tucson, Arizona and Candace Dawsey (Meron) of Alamogordo; her siblings, Leontene English (George) of Temple, Wilma Bradford of Gardenia, Alva Joyce Ellis (Bill) of Doak Springs, Texas and Timothy Roberson, Jr. (Mary) of San Antonio, Texas; and her goddaughters, Deborah Holloway Smith, Gloria Enoch and Lanie Cooper. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
