It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Inez (Naya) Benitez of Alamogordo, New Mexico, who passed away on September 25, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Severiano Benitez and Petra Benitez; his wife Ramona Contreras Stogden; and his siblings, Rebecca Perea (Orlando), Ruth Silva (James) and Modesto Benitez.
He is survived by: his former spouse Jovita Noriega; his children, Maria Rodriguez (Frank), Ramon and Abraham Benitez; his stepsons, Jason Stogden, Jacob Benitez (Angela) and Arturo Cortez (Christine); and his siblings, Elizabeth Walker (William), Naomi Benitez, Martha Pruneda (late Edwardo), Alfonso Benitez (late Juanita), Jose Benitez (Eloisa), Elias Benitez (late Rosa), David Benitez and Paul Benitez (Debbie). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
