It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hortensia Artiaga of Alamogordo, New Mexico, who passed away on February 12, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcello Bejarano and Elisa Bejarano; and her sisters, Elisa and Manuela. She is survived by: her husband Alex Artiaga; her children, Jo Anne Shank, Deon, Alex Rey and Chrystallyne; her siblings, Mary Hernandez, Clementa Lopez, Jesus, Luz, Martin Montoya, Josie and Nieves Chavarria; her grandchildren, Chrystofer, Sabra, Zack, Taylor, Juliet, Jocelyn, Jerrick-Cole, Xavien and Neveiaha; and her great grandchildren, Genisys, Sailym, Peyton, Annastasia, Jase and Wesley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
