He is survived by: his parents, Herb Sr. Muniz (Rose Muniz) and Mary Jane Farmer Muniz (Samuel Aubel); his wife Wendy Muniz (Underwood); his children, Jessica, Dylan Muniz, Ayse, Richard Muniz (Ricky) and Megan (Henry Valenzuela); his grandchildren, Dominic Muniz, Eli Cuellar, Maddox Merritt, Nikolas, Jeremiah, Rhiannon, Maximus, Xaniel Valenzuela, Elijah Freedom and Kenzie Hightower; his mother-in-law Ayla Hightower; his siblings, Natalie Lopez, Michaela Huizar (Muniz), April Thomas and Sarah (Bret Bennett); his siblings-in-law, Richard Underwood (Rick) and Tammy Underwood; and his friend Dion Dulany. He is also survived by Many cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless close friends.
He was laid to rest by the Lord on December 18, 2020 due to Covid-19 related complications.
