It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Hamel in Alamogordo, New Mexico, born in Amherst, Ohio, who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Hamel (Schellhouse) and Floyd Arthur. He is survived by: his wife Jane Hamel; his daughters, Sabrina Hamel-Green (Rob) of Albuquerque, NM and Shelly Sanchez (Pablo) of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, Cody, Chelsea, Ryan, Hailey, Averie and Emma; and his great grandchild Alfie.
