Genevieve Anderson Armstrong Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Anderson Armstrong of Alamogordo, New Mexico, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Clarence and Viola Julia Anderson (Buettikoffer); her husband James Thomas Armstong; and her sister Pauline Ritter of Burlington, Iowa.. She is survived by: her children, Rev. Jay Armstrong (Laura) of Farmington, James Armstrong II (Marivel) of Alamogordo, Rev. Daniel Armstrong (Julie) of Odessa, Texas, Lydia French (David) of Alamogordo, Andrea Martin (Curtis) of San Antonio and Trudy Hartmann (Ray) of Kempner, Texas; and her siblings, George Anderson of St. Jacob, IL and Mary Anderson of King George, VA.. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grace United Methodist Church (1206 Greenwood Ln, Alamogordo, NM 88310).

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to Grace Methodist Church or to Court Appointed.
