He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Tidwell and Eunice Tidwell; his former wife Faye Tidwell (Lane); his son Thad Z. Tidwell; his grandchild Shania Tidwell; and his siblings, Bill Tidwell, Dan Tidwell, Jerry Tidwell, Ronnie Tidwell, Elizabeth Broocke, Alma Means and Margie Tidwell.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Tidwell (Smith); his sons, Todd S. and Tab L. Tidwell; his brother Charles Tidwell of Fort Worth, TX; his grandchildren, Erica, Justin Tidwell of Phoenix, AZ, Tyler L. Tidwell and Hadley Tidwell; and his niece Rachel Olson (Dvorak) of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
