He was predeceased by: his father Frank Montoya. He is survived by: his wife Irma Montoya; his daughters, Amanda Montoya, Veronica Montoya and Angelica Montoya; his grandson Karmelo Montoya; his mother Josie Granados; his stepfather Benito Granados; his sisters, Melissa Coyazo (Ysidro) and Brenda Montoya; and his friends, Mark Carpenter, Jaime Anderson, Joe Beach, Mel Myers, Jim Jones, Bert Beach, Efrain Servain and Carlos Maynez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date due to the Corona Virus.
