He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Butler and Mary Butler; his son Frank J. Butler III; his siblings, Louise Finton and Robert Butler; his grandson Coryn J. Thomas; and his great grandchild Abigail Humphries.
He is survived by: his wife Olga Judka; his daughters, Olga Thomas (Shawn) of Albuquerque, Christina Buhnerkempe (Michael) of Odessa and Rebecca Mowrey of Alamogordo; his grandchildren, Olga King-Swofford (Michael) of Albuquerque and Ryan Humphries of Alamogordo; his stepgranddaughters, Samantha Parrott (Jesse) of Denver and Rachel Buhnerkempe of Houston, Texas; his brother Donald Butler (Michelle) of Carlsbad; and his cousins, Helen Martin (Bud) and Sam Fairchild of Alamogordo. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, step-great grandchildren, in-laws, other cousins, and friends.
