She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Houy Sr and Annie Koenig Houy; her husband Joe A Erwin; her grandson Ryan Ruiz; and her siblings, Madeline Dilley, Margaret Shaw, Mildred Houy and Arnold Houy Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Debra J Van Winkle and Connie L Erwin; her grandchildren, Jacob Ruiz (Zeylah) and Tyler Ruiz; her great grandchild Olivia Grace Ruiz; and her sisters, Olida Worley, Viola Hohmann of Fredericksburg Texas and Anna Barker of Phoenix Arizona. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
