He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Juan Alderete Ruiz and Jacinta Adame; his siblings, Hector, Humberto, Manuel, Elena and Delia; his wife Elena Martinez; his children, Martha Murphy (Ralph), Jose Ruiz (Leticia), Maria Baros (Ivan) and Leo Ruiz (Judie); and his grandchildren, Lupita, Pearl, Maribel, Marina of Jesus Jose, Ivan Jr., Irma, Glinda, Savannah, Victor, Jeremiah, Michael, Erica, Adrian, Taylor, Cameron and Koby. He was also cherished by his family and friends.
