Edna Wood Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2021, at the age of 84, Edna Wood of Alamogordo, New Mexico, born in Dierks, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert John and Mary Dove; her husband Carrol J. Wood; her sister Mary Edith Posey; and her grandson Jedidiah Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Jesse Wood (Carol), James Wood (Susan), Kathy Grant (Wood) and Cynthia Buttram (Terry); her niece Laverne Jordan; and her nephew Chet Wood. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions a small gravesite service was held on January 16 at Mountain Acres Cemetery in Mayhill, NM.
Edna has requested that friends and family make a memorial contribution to Mayhill Baptist Church.
