She was predeceased by: her parents, George Horlocker and Hazel Horlocker (Dungan); her husband Melvin Mellott; her son-in-law Rick Huether; her sisters, Darlene Gaskin (Gordon), Elizabeth Welch (Weldon), Phyllis Butts (Don) and Alta Kottraba (Chuck); and also, Earl and Katherine Mellott (Thompson).
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Dewey (Fred) of Moorcroft, Cris Mellott (Charlotte) of Sundance, Marilyn Nelson (Tod) of Lance Creek, Cindy Hurley (Mance) of Casper and Jon Mellott; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Mulholland (Gene). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 31 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Moorcroft Cemetery.
