He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Smith and Mary Smith; and his sister Arzola Lee Martin. He is survived by: his sister Dr. Hollis R. Batista (Josue); his children, Malik Smith (Jane Smith), Corey Eaddy (Kiki Eaddy), Mellissa Walker (Joshua Walker) and Tianna Arrington; his grandchildren, Makaili and Noble; and his nephew Chris Edmonds (Sharon Crytzer).
