She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Drake and Ruth Drake (Spruell); her husband Nolen E. Smith; and her siblings, Kathleen Bradley, Wilburn Drake and Lecil Drake.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Wells, Nolen Smith (Sylvia) of San Angelo and Stewart Smith of Corpus Christi, Texas; her grandchildren, David McMath of Holly Springs and Lachelle Nettles of Dripping Springs; and her sister-in-law Florence Robinson (Joe Robinson) of Lubbock, Texas.
