It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Edward Miles in Alamogordo, New Mexico, born in Somerville, Tennessee, who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Miles and Clara Miles; and his wife Jane Miles. He is survived by: his children, Shara Mohr of Alamogordo, NM, Angelica Selders of Franklin, NC, Sherry Miles of Wellington, AL, Janet Smith of Weaver, AL, David Miles and John Roy Miles; and his siblings, Edna Thompson of Dalton, GA, Alice Miles of Unionville, TN, Phyllis Miles of Unionville, TN, Calvin Miles, Sam Miles of Dalton, GA, Robert Miles of Dalton, GA and Leman Miles of Dalton, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
