It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Garnand of Alamogordo, New Mexico, born in Vaughn, New Mexico, who passed away on August 17, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roberto Garnand and Hilaria Garnand; his wife Josefina; his siblings, Alex, Billy, George, Dwayne and Narciso Garnand; and his grandsons, Jonathon and Joshua Garnand.
He is survived by: his former spouse Josephina Garnand (Campos); his children, Rosendo Garnand (Arturo Garnand), Victor Garnand (Glen Garnand), David Garnand (Norma) of Las Cruces, NM, Marlen Najera (Josie Ballinas) and Michelle Garnand (Juan Gerardo) of Albuquerque, NM; and his siblings, Robert Garnand (Claudia) of Albuquerque, NM, Chris Garnand of Albuquerque, NM, Mary McKinstry of Albuquerque, NM and Elizabeth Chavez of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
