It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Pruett (Alamogordo, New Mexico), born in Sweetwater, Texas, who passed away on June 1, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wright and Nora Bell Wright; her husband Sonny Pruett; and her grandson David Steele. She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Wimsatt (Steve), Jane Griffin (Wayne), Johnny Pruett (Susan) and Wanda "Shorty" Cross (Jim) of Otero County, NM; and her grandchildren, Sheri Wimsatt, Ace Wimsatt, Gwen Huston, Charlotte Griffin, Tate Pruett, Toby Pruett, Tandie Payne, Tiare Tawil, Nalani Hobbs and Benjamin Steele. She is also survived by her 20 great-grandchildren; and her 6 great great-grandchildren.
